STS-33 Space Shuttle Status Report: Wednesday, October 25.
        George Diller

At approximately 1:00 a.m. this morning a decision was made to
postpone the rollout of the Space Shuttle Discovery by 24 hours due
to active thunderstorm activity at the Kennedy Space Center. This
weather began in early evening yesterday and continued overnight.
Clouds and showers are forecast to continue along the coast during
the day. The call to stations for the rollout team is 9:00 p.m.
tonight and first motion is rescheduled for midnight tonight. Most
access platforms will remain retracted from around the vehicle today.

There is no change in the flight crew's arrival on Saturday or
for the Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test which is to start at
8:00 a.m. Sunday and conclude on Monday.

In other activity today at KSC, at the Vertical Processing
Facility, the Hubble Space Telescope will be powered up for the first
time since its arrival. This begins a series of functional tests
which will continue for several months. Launch will be aboard the
Space Shuttle Discovery next year at the end of March.
