                              Launch Complex 39
                              STS-41 L-4 Day Weather Outlook
                              Expected conditions on 10/6/90

Synopsis: A high presssure system centered to the northeast of
Florida will be the dominant feature. A weak frontal
boundry will be across central or south Florida.
This will create the possibility of occasional showers
and ceilings below 8,000 feet. Slightly stonger winds
will reduce the chance of fog. The speed of the
tropcial wave now located 1300 miles southeast of
Florida has slowed and is not a factor.

At 7:35 a.m. on Saturday conditions are forecast to be:

          Clouds: 3,000-8,000 scattered
                   25,000-28,000 scattered

          Visibility: 7 miles

Wind: ESE-10 knots, occasional gusts to 16 knots

          Temperature: 80 degrees

          Dewpoint: 77 degrees

          Relative Humidity: 90%

          Precipitation: chance of showers

          Probabilities of weather criteria violations--
          Tanking violation: 0%
Launch weather criteria violation: Saturday 30%
                                             Sunday 30%
