                              Launch Complex 39
L-4 Day Weather Outlook for STS-35
                              Conditions expected on Sunday, 12/2/90

Synopsis: At this time, high pressure centered over the central
United States is expected to be the dominant weather feature
influencing the weather conditions in Florida. The main concern
is occasional ceilings below 8,000 feet.

The direction of movement of a low pressure system currently
located in the Carribean is uncertain. Should it move northward,
launch weather will deteriorate. A better forecast of its
position on Sunday will be possible tomorrow.

Currently, between 1:28 a.m. and 3:58 a.m. on Sunday morning
          conditions are forecast to be:

          Clouds: 4,000-7,000 scattered stratocumulus
                     8,000-11,000 altocumulus
                    28,000-33,000 scattered cirrus

          Visibility: 7+ miles

          Wind-Pad 39B: NE/10-16 knots

          Temperature: 62 degrees

          Dewpoint: 60 degrees

          Humidity: 92%

          Precipitation: slight chance of showers

Probabilities of launch weather criteria violation: Sunday 30%
                                                              Monday 40%
                                                              Tuesday 40%
