                              Launch Complex 39
L-3 Day Weather Forecast for STS-35
                              Conditions expected on Sunday, 12/2/90

Synopsis: High pressure centered over the central United States
with a stationary front just north of KSC are expected to be the
dominant weather features influencing weather conditions in the
Cape Canaveral vicinity. The exact position of the frontal
boundry will be better known on Saturday. The main concern is
possible occasional ceilings below 8,000 feet. The low pressure
system currently located south of Cuba is not expected to be a
          factor.

Between 1:28 a.m. and 3:58 a.m. on Sunday morning conditions are
          forecast to be:

          Clouds: 4,000-7,000 scattered stratocumulus
                     8,000-11,000 scattered altocumulus
                    28,000-33,000 scattered cirrus

          Visibility: 7+ miles

          Wind-Pad 39B: ENE/10-16 knots

          Temperature: 62 degrees

          Dewpoint: 60 degrees

          Humidity: 92%

          Precipitation: slight chance of showers
