Recently, I've become involved in the Kansas University Space Program which is currently putting together a Get Away Special Container (GAS) to be put on a future shuttle flight. As one of only two EE's involved, it looks like I'm going to have to do a fair amount of work on the control and data collection systems. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has also worked on one of these beasts. The NASA publications are great sources of information on this, but there is still nothing like being able to ask questions.
