I need to be able to calculate the current "high noon" position of the sun, given the date and time (GMT). What I'd like is a formula that accepts the date and time and returns the location on the earth (in lat/lon) that the sun is overhead. Of course, I could also work with C source... I've written software to compute solar ephemerides, but from your posting I wonder if that's what you really want... There is a protractor used in solar architecture that may meet your needs (once again, depending on what those needs are). Anyway check out some books on solar architecture... Terrell
