As much LOX & LH2 is drained back into the storage tanks at the pad (the
large white spheres) as possible. In all actuality, the LH2 is so light
that it is pushed around. When the ET is filled with LOX, they run pumps
to pump it uphill to the ET. To drain LOX, the ET is just pressurized, and
it flows back into the storage tank. To load LH2, all that is required is
the LH2 is run thru a vaporizer (just a set of pipes that exposes the LH2
to atmospheric temperatures and turns it to gas) and that is used to
pressurize the storage tank. The LH2 then is pushed uphill to the ET. To
unload LH2, the ET is pressurized, and it runs back to the storage tank.

This, of course, is a simplified version. All of the pressure in the tanks
(4 of them) is carefully controlled so that the tank doesn't suck itself
in, or doesn't get too much pressure.

To revise my lauch dates (I just got aq correction recently...)

The next launch is sometime in August. You may write to the following
address for a launch pass:

NASA Vehicle Pass
PA - Pass
Kennedy Space Center, FL
                       32899

In general, if you know the launch that you wish, ask for that launch. If
you
know a general time frame, then ask for that time frame.

When whatching a launch, listen to FM Station 91.5 (It is a local religious
station) or AM 580 out of Orlando (Thanx to Matthew DeLuca).

The following is the complete SST Manifest. Of course dates for any
launches longer than a "while off" (you interpret) are probably not real
accurate.
