[sci.space.shuttle] Can't we fix OZONE layer!

vu0208@bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu (06/28/91)

This posting (influenced by thread going on on space shuttle and ozone
layer) may sound ridiculous... but I can't hesitate to express my self.

My view is, if we can destry Ozone layer, then CAN'T we FIX it.

If we humans can produce life-threatening/dangerous toxic/chemicals that destroy
everything around us then we must also be ABLE to make the
life-supporting/fixing chemicals.

Shame on us - that we have always built destruction for our
short-sighted luxuries/goals but never cared about the place
(earth and it's vicinity) where we thrive and live!!

The Greater Los Angeles area has way too much ozone. If we can only
figure out a way to move LA up into the upper atmosphere, we could
solve two problems at once and make a lot of people happy! ;-) ;-)
