[comp.databases] How good is customer support from RTI?

Does anyone have any experience with RTI (Ingres) as a VAR?  I'm developing a
very extensive medical information system that requires a well-supported
relational data base which suports heterogeneous database manipulations.
The comments on the net seem to favor Ingres.  And I was very impressed by
a seminar I attended that was sponsored by RTI.

However, followup on the part of RTI has been non-existent; they haven't even
bothered to return any of my phone calls!  Is this an isolated experience
(perhaps because I'm located in Hawaii), or have others encountered similar
problems.
