Sperform and sacego are two commands for running a compiled screen form and report directly from the operating system. Why do these two programs use pwd when they are started. The fact that this happens causes a problem for our application-environment. We protect our application by allowing access to that application only for those users who have a particular group-id (not equal informix). When someone uses sperform or sacego within the application-area, he or she gets group-id informix. And with that group-id the following message will appear on the screen ---> sh: pwd: cannot open .. The former version of Informix (2.05) didn't have this problem. We can ignore this message, but we don't know the consequences because we don't know why sperform and sacego use pwd.
