Can anyone recommend a source for out of print technical books? It would
even be OK if the books were used.
Some technical books that are not all that old are no longer in print,
and indications are from the publishers that they will not be reprinted.
I am especially interested in books in the field of database, information
retrieval, AI, text editing and formatting, publishing, and compiler writing.
For example, for some time, I have been trying to locate a copy of:
Entity-Relationship Approach to Information
Modeling and Analysis by P.P. Chen (ed.),
Elsevier, 1983
(this is the Proceedings of the 2nd International
Conference on Entity-Relationship Approach, held in
Washington D.C. 12-14 October 1981)
However, I am interested in sources of out of print technical books in general.
