This is a repost. Our gateway blew up recently, and my first plea for assistance may not have made it around the block. ---------------------- Is anyone successfully running Oracle (v4.2.2) on top of VMS 5.0? Our Oracle (v4.2.2) used to run on a VAX 11/750 under VMS 4.x. Since we installed VMS 5.0, it won't run. I've been told by our sys admin. that the Oracle folks are dragging their feet on support (not surprising, since Oracle was given to us as a gift some time ago -- really! it was part of a university grant program). Since my experience with VMS is practically zip, I'm looking for advice on bringing up an old Oracle on a new VMS, mainly can it be done? Is anyone out there up and running? Thanks.
