Hi, netfolks...right now I am attempting to write a C program that builds a select statement at run-time using the PREPARE and DESCRIBE BIND/SELECT VARIABLES statements. The one manual I have has only a general description of the process and NO C-language examples at all. Does anyone have a C example I could look at? or an alternate suggestion? Thanks in advance. *********************************************************************** * ...another day, another quarter... * Jan A. Hi - I have an example program which instructively uses what Oracle calls 'Method 4' Dynamic SQL using descriptors, etc. Rather than pollute the airwaves here, I would gladly mail it to anyone requesting. -Ben Linder ----------------------------------------------------------- Ben Linder, Oracle Corp Advanced Services blinder@oracle.com blinder%oracle.uucp@hplabs.hp.com Disclaimer: The above is my personal opinion and does not reflect the views of Oracle Corp ------------------------------------------------------- Ben Linder arpa: blinder%oracle@hplabs.hp.com Oracle Corp uucp: ...hplabs!oracle!blinder
