Does anyone out there have experience with PC-Ingres? We have run into a problem with use of function keys in an application. It seems that the function key allocates dynamic memory each time it is pressed and Ingres has no way of releasing dynamic memory. We get the following error after the function key has been used about 150 times: INGRES FRONTEND MEMORY ERROR: Out of memory; please restart program (1,55) ABOUT TO SHUT DOWN DBMS [HIT RETURN] followed by: Memory allocation error Cannot load COMMAND, system halted What we need is a way to deallocate the dynamic memory without exiting the application.
