[comp.databases] debit/credit or tp1 database benchmarks?

We would like to get information about methodologies of executing bench
mark with databases having various fields with certain distributions
of values in those fields and some representative group of updates
and queries. Is there any standards for this issue? are there any
articles dealing with it?
