[comp.databases] Need a Public Domain Database

doyle@riacs.edu (Dee Doyle) (03/16/89)

We are a research institute at Nasa Ames in bad need of a database. The
problem is, we don't have the money to buy any of the fine databases available.

Does anyone know of a public domain general purpose database running on Unix?

Thanks in advance.
Dee

Look into University Ingres. It's public domain (I believe). Can't tell you
who to talk to about it though.
