I am researching Database/SQL benchmarks. While I am looking for any article on database benchmarking, I am particularly interested in articles on benchmarks other than TP1 or the Debit/Credit benchmark. I am interested in benchmarks on mainframe, mini, PC or, ideally, on all three. To avoid duplication, here is a list of articles that I have: 1. "Toward an Equitable Benchmark", Datamation, Feb. 1, 1988, pp47-54 2. "All TP1s are not Created Equal", Datamation, Aug 15, 1988, pp51-53 3. "A Measure of Transaction Processing Power", Datamation, Apr. 1, pp112-118 4. "Benchmarking Techniques for UNIX DBMSs", Database Programming & Design, Nov 1988, pp28-35 5. "Benchmark Sleight of Hand", Computerworld, Aug 1, 1988, pp45-48 6. "DBMS Advances to Key Breakthroughs in SQL", Computerworld, Feb. 1, 1988, pp31 (Part 1) "Don't Believe All You Read About Benchmarks", Computerworld, Feb. 8, 1988, pp33 (Part 2) "Test Your Benchmark Knowledge", Computerworld, Feb. 15, 1988, pp39 (Part 3) 7. "Benchmarking Simple Database Operations", ACM SIGMOD, Vol 16, No. 4, Dec 1988, pp387-394 8. "A Benchmark of NonStop SQL on the Debit Credit Transaction", ACM SIGMOD, Vol 17, No. 3, Sept 1988, pp337-341 9. "High Performance SQL Through Low-Level System Integration", ACM SIGMOD, Vol 17, No. 3, Sept 1988, pp342-349 10. "A Performance Analysis of the Gamma Database Machine", ACM SIGMOD, Vol 17, No. 3, Sept 1988, pp350-360 Note: The Association of Computing Machinery 11 West 42nd Street New York, NY 10036 SIGMOD --> Special Interest Group on the Management of Data Any information on how I can obtain articles from the Very Large Database Conferences (VLDB) would also be helpful. Please email your responses to me. Thank you in advance Kevin Cunningham
