[comp.databases] Looking for X-Windows front ends for SQL databases.

Hi, does anyone know about research or commerical products
that help one build X window forms front ends for SQL based
databases, preferably on a remote machine(s)? Something like
the ABF family of products from RTI, or JYACC but for X window
environments specifically? Commercial products fine, would prefer
stuff I can buy/read about now, but vaporware announcements of interest too.
Mail to me and I shall summarize if there is interest.
