[comp.databases] Relational and Object-oriented models

wlp@calmasd.Prime.COM (Walter Peterson) (05/25/89)

For a good general survey of OODBMSs look at the Proceedings for the
first three ACM-SIGPLAN Conferences on Object-Oriented Programming,
Systems, Languages and Applications (OOPSLA)
      OOPSLA-86
      OOPSLA-87
      OOPSLA-89

or the Proceedings of the 4th and 5th IEEE-CS International
Conferences on Data Engineering.

Also Morgan-Kaufmann publishers has a "Readings in Object-oriented
Data Base Systems" edited by Stan Zdonik (sp ?) that should be
available in late spring or earily summer.
