We are in the final selection stages of an application package that is written entirely in Progress 4GL. The application meets all of our requirements. Has anybody had any NEGATIVE experiences with Progress? I'm interested in any problems with the DB, the 4GL, technical support from the company, attitude problems in the company, etc. This is an important application for us, and we need to make a (mostly) right decision. We had loads of talks with Progress directly, but you folks out there that both USE the product and READ netnews are the ones I'm interested in hearing from.
