dBase IV does support a number of laserprinters. It doesn't support Postscript, which is not at all the same as not supporting laserprinters. Personally, I wouldn't own a printer that can't accept straight ASCII text. Being able to do all the neat things Postscript does would be nice but not at the cost of being able to print normal text!
