    I am looking for some paper about Data Base Version maintenance
    schemes in different system.

    Here is the list which I get so far:

        M. Carey, D. DeWitt, J. Richardson, and E. Shekita. Object and file
            management in the EXODUS extensible database system. In Proc. of

        R. S. Finlayson and D. R. Cheriton. Log Files: an extended file
