I'm trying to keep an audit trail of what i'm doing with a particular
set of data, and saving what goes into the command windowis fine for
this.
Inevitably, though, i end up quitting before remembering to save
manually, which i've been doing by selecting the command window,
selecting all, copy, open new file, paste, save as. This is sort of
tedious, after the 50th time anyway, and it would be nice to automate
it. MacroMaker doesn't work because i want to avoid writing over the
same file (i've been giving files names based on the date).
Is there a way to accomplish the same function within FoxBASE?
