Looking for Informix program development and documentation tools.
Working with E/SQL-C, ISQL and 4GL. Here is a laundry wish list:
. Cross reference program(s)
. 4GL Functions and calls
. Call hierarchy - 4GL, E/SQL, ISQL
. sql table & column references - 4GL, E/SQL, ISQL
. variables referenced outside of a function
. 4GL (.4gl) and Forms (.per)
. 4GL Help Files
. Perform (.per) table and column references
In order to do any kind of code generation (with referential integrity)
would like to see extension tables to catalog for at least some of the
following:
. table Prime Key(s) (& possibly Candidate Prime Key(alternate key(s))
(true--can deduce Prime from catalog if only 1 unique index defined)
. table Foreign Key(s)
. relationships between tables (and columns used) such as
. 1-to-0 or 1
. 1-to-1
. 1-to-0 or n
. 1-to-1 or n
Anyone have anything that does GRAND/REVOKE in a hiearchical manner?
Any additions like default display format, business definition
description, and the like? Anyone have additions or use data from
the syscolval and syscolatt tables created by UPSCOL?
Any help or pointers in a direction would be appreciated.
