Hi there,

Is anyone out there with any information  concerning the ff refernce:

       LAGUANA BEACH PARTICIPANTS
       "FUTURE DIRECTIONS IN DBMS RESEARCH"
        INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER SCIENCE INSTITUTE
         BERKELEY
          CALIFORNIA 
           FEB. 1988

I was looking for some papers to give me an up_to_date account of the state of 
database research or some information to that effect. After a long search I 
stumbled on the above reference in:

READINGS IN DATABASE SYSTEMS  edited by M STONEBRAKER

Presumably a conference/seminar was held on Laguana Beach in Feb 1988. 
If you do have references to any proceedins/reports/papers concerning this
event I will be eternally gratefull if you could pass the info on to me.
