I hope someone out in netland can help us out here. We have a VAX-11/780 running 4.2bsd unix, with an LPA-11 sitting by itself on its own unibus. We are just now in the process of trying to get the thing to work. The main problem we have now is in downloading the microcode to the LPA. Can anyone tell me where to find this ? I'd really like to have a file name that the VMS driver accesses, but I'll take just about anything, even raw code. Also, to anyone out towards U. C. Berkeley, I here from Asa Romberger ( who wrote the device driver for unix ) that there is a directory full of stuff to interface with the LPA. Is this true ? Who do I have to talk to about getting access to some ( or all ) of that stuff? Finally, to anyone who has actually used an LPA under any circumstances, please tell me what kind of pain I am going to be in the rest of this project :-). Thanks in advance, Nathan Hillery P.S.
