I'm submitting this request for a friend (he doesn't have access to the net). Does anybody know of a database package (commercial or public domain) that has an X (11) Windows interface for data entry and report generation etc. Ideally, the package should allow customisation of the interface (e.g. change the layout). Failing this, can anyone recommend an X11 toolkit that he could use to write such an interface for a database. The toolkit would need to be reliable and fairly easy to use (i.e. not a half finished public domain one :-) ). A commercial one would be preferred as that implies support and upgrades/bug fixes.
