[comp.databases] ORACLE financial and purchasing packages

mtm@igor.Philips.Com (Marie McCall) (12/20/89)

Has anyone had any exposure to ORACLE's financial and purchasing
packages? Specifically, when both are being used and they interface to
each other. I would appreciate any information anyone could give me
regarding the usefulness of this as well as any information regarding
Oracle's support staff and response time to problems/questions.

Thanks in advance.

I developed an application that integrated a large custom application
with Oracle's financial and purchasing packages (beta versions at the time).
I found them to be easy to link to because they are based on the Oracle RDBMS
and the tables are available for use by other applications. Tech support
for all Oracle products has always been superior in my experiance.

If you need development help my rates are competitive!
