I have a Clipper application that is doing a simple read (@..GET) of a character field. If the DEL key is hit to delete characters (or accidentally) the machine is locking up and must be reset. Any buffered data is lost as you might well expect. The number of times the key has to be hit before a lockup is random, although it is usually only 1-4. Has anyone seen this problem before? Any information on this problem would be greatly appreciated. The machine is a true blue IBM AT. Lots of memory (2+ Mb), EGA, 50Mb of disk space.
