[comp.databases] Client/Server standard ??

    Is there any "standard" for the Client/Server Model yet ?  ANSI, ISO,
IEEE, whatever.  How can I get a copy of that standard if it exists ?

    I would also appreciate any pointer to good papers or books on 
Client/Server Model.
