I think everyone has heard by now that some portion of Ingres will be bundled with the next release of Ultrix. Does anyone know exactly what part of Ingres that'll be? The best answer I've gotten so far is "the database engine". I'd like to know what that means in terms of Ingres products. Does a database engine plus a user interface add up to the base product? Can you run compiled applications with just the database engine? Do any of you know more details? Thanks! Nancy -- Nancy J.
