I'm new to FOXPRO, and am really amazed by how slow and difficult it is to find a function that will work for my purpose using both the manual and TOM RETTIG'S FOXPRO HANDBOOK. I realize that you can toggle word wrap using the preference dialog when you are editing something. But I couldn't find where in the manual and the handbook saying how you can control this function when you define your own window. So the question is: how could you turn off the word wrap function in a user-defined window? Any comments and answers are much appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tony Chou Forest Science Laboratory Oregon State University Corvallis, OR 97331 (503) 750-7325 -------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a relative neo to FoxPro also, but, to the best of my knowledge, you can't. Try calling Fox support (ha!) and asking them that question. I just had the runaround from them about how to really implement cut/copy/paste (answer: You can't.) jas -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeffrey A.
