I would like to find a site (near downtown Los Angeles or accessible using tn3270 [a 3270 terminal emulator running w/ tcp/ip transport] via internet) where I could be allowed to learn as much as possible about using MVS, TSO, ISPF, IMS, DB2, and CICS to develop efficient integrated applications to be used for implementing decision support systems for executives and operational personnel. I have MVS, TSO, ISPF and DB2 available for my use on USC's 3090. But we no longer own IMS or CICS. I would really appreciate access to these systems on any academic or commercial system at any time of day or night and under any restrictions necessary to keep your system administrators happy. I can't pay for such access on a student budget. But I could possibly make some consulting support available to your organization in exchange for such access. I could exchange expertise (1973-present) in the following areas: Business Applications Decision Support Systems Data Base Management Systems Data Communications & System Security Capacity Planning & Performance Management Software Installation & System Administration Design, Fabrication & Debugging of Custom Hardware Interfaces Operating System Software & Device Driver Development Systems Analysis, Design & Implementation Software Testing & Quality Assurance Graphics & Image Processing Technology Assessment M.S.
