I'm having some trouble figuring things out in Double Helix II and was
wondering if anyone could help out.
First, the Upper case tile doesn't seem to work in real time. By that
I mean that I cannot have a field (the state field) and an abacus with
the Upper case tile upper casing the state field in the same data
rectangle. Or rather, I can do it, it just doesn't work. It isn't a
big deal, but I would like the state to appear in upper case.
Second, I can't seem to get a sub-total tile to work. I'm doing an
order entry system and want the lines (much like the QuickStart Order
Entry System Odesta includes) to be totaled at the bottom of the order
form so I can add tax and all that groovy stuff. But for some reason
the subtotal tile is always undefined. Anything I'm obviously missing?
Third, I want the order taker to be able to check the customer data to
make sure nothing has changed and edit it if it has. I can get a
sequence to open the Customer entry view, but I see no way of having
it find the appropriate person (already found once for the order form)
and display that person's record. Any clues?
