Just paged throught the latest issue of Ingres Advantage, and noticed the many times that the phrase "Ingres - committed to customer satisfaction" appeared. Hahahahahahahahaha. I suppose it's only coincidental that this issue is larded with that particular hype phrase after Ingres realized it's in big trouble with users who find the product OK but ABSOLUTELY AND COMPLETELY DESPISE dealing with the administrative end of the company and are VERY DISSATISFIED in that respect. (I know Ingres realizes it because they created a four-person team to poll users to try to get a grip on just how immense this problem is and what to do about it.) Well, if they can straighten out the mess, I applaud them. I'm not holding my breath. Great product. Horrendous bureaucracy. Paul DuBois dubois@primate.wisc.edu
