[comp.databases] Question about Sybase

A couple of questions for the Sybasers out there:
 
First of all, has Sybase announced support for the Sun IPC as a server?
This machine would seem to represent a good, solid, reasonably low-cost
server for 20-40 user installations.

Second, what is the recommended network setup for, say, a Sybase/Sun
server combination in an environment using Macintoshes as front ends?
I realize this is an open-ended question, but for purposes of argument,
assume that the Mac users would want access to such Macintosh network
services as QuickMail and AppleShare.

I'll summarize any email replies I receive if interest warrants.
