[comp.databases] Standard for two-phase commit

news@bellcore.bellcore.com (news) (09/04/90)

Does anyone know how I can get information on current standards
for two-phase commit in a distributed environment. I know that the
major vendors have or are soon scheduled to release products that
support the standard, but I don't know where the standard is
specified. I thought it was X/Open, but I can't find any mention
in the documentation for X/Open. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
