[net.records] Dire Straits and Romeovoid reviews

Two new goodies:

Dire Straits -- 'Love over Gold'
The good news is that since their first album these guys have
gone from two good songs per LP to three. The better news is
that there are only five songs on this one. But seriously,
folks, when was the last time you heard a 14 minute song that
kept your attention the whole way through? The key word here
is "heartfelt". I can't detect a trace of hype anywhere, and
almost everything manages to touch me somewhere. Not a dance
record; you have to listen to it, but it's worth the effort.

Romeovoid -- 'Benefactor' (415/Warners)
Up from the San Francisco punk scene, these are wierdlings of
	a high order. z
Very beat-heavy, with doodling sax and dark, detached vocals/
chants from the (female) lead singer. If this sounds unfriendly
and uninteresting to you, you'll be surprised. The most fun
	you'll ever have twitching.
