We are looking to implement an indexing and retrieval system for scanned images, and we are considering using the db_VISTA product from RAIMA. This is in the DOS environment, and will require Windows. There will be between 1 and 2 million records involved, and performance is a major requirement. A response time of no more than 3 seconds is more like what could be tolerated. This will be a networked environment (Novell, most likely), and the disk interface will be SCSI. Any information on this product (both +ve and -ve), or some alternative products will be welcome. Thanks in advance. rotimi
