Does anyone have experience with Paradox 3.0 standalone or LAN version under Novell. Good points, bad points, what to watch for, etc. Thanks Rick

I am also looking for information on Paradox as I just learned this week that I will be working with it during my workterm. I am a dBASE IV user so any information on Paradox would be greatly appreciated. Mary

We have many users running under Novell networks with no problems. I have found that it has really lived up to it's name, Paradox, a easy to use yet powerful database. Of course, choosing the right database depends on many variables. Are you thinking of purchasing, and if so you might repost your question explaining your situation. -- Bill Yock, Weeg Computing Center, University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa 52242 byock@umaxc.weeg.uiowa.edu

I just spent my summer programming in Paradox and while I found it very powerful, I also found it hard to learn. I was unable to find any books on programming applications in Paradox. A friend of mine is having difficulty learning to program in Paradox. Does anyone know of any good books on programming using Paradox 3.0? If you have any suggestions please email them to me as I don't always get to read the newsgroup. You help would be much appreciated.
