Does anybody know of any software (an SQL front-end or something) that allows access to an Rdb database on a VAX/VMS from within a WingZ application running on a Mac? I already know of Datalink but that only supports relational databases on UNIX platforms. Whatever help/directions to any software/vendors would be greatly appreciated. My company, Atlantic Information Management, has ported SQL Server (Sybase) DB Library to WingZ (as well as Excel, Word for Windows, Toolbook, and a number of other things). We've shelved all work on WingZ because Informix says they are bringing out their own DB interface in a few weeks. Our code is proprietary, and we would demand a fee. Informix's code on the other hand will be supported by them and free.
