[comp.databases] PICK Report writers?

question for pick users:

system is HP9000/835 (unix) and users uniVerse to implement
PICK environment.  Prime flavor if it matters.

in running a production system we note a possible need for a
report writer more powerful than the vanilla that comes with
all PICK but less demanding than BASIC programming for
users.

sure wish it would allow some recursion, multiple passes,
and local variables...

looking around the community, the things that come into view
all seem to be complete development systems that don't
unbundle their report writers.

anyone know of such a beastie?


thanks for any suggestions; email and i'll summarize if i
seem to unearth anything and there is interest.
