I have compiled ingres 8.1 on a sun 3/80 with sunos4.1. All seems to work fine, using the interactive 'ingres' is a pleasure. But, as the READ_ME says, there are problem with equel. Trying '## ingres demo' with debug gives this: IIingres KSORT SYSERR: pb_write: proc -32 SYSERR: pb_read: read error (0) I've tried to set NOFILE to 20, since sun's NOFILE is 256, but it does not help.
