We have a copy of the Empress RDBMS (Empress/32 version 2.4) and we are trying to use its user-defined function capabilities to build a VLSI design application. However, we can't get it to work !! Not even the example of user-defined functions it has in the manual !! Has anyone experience of using this feature ? ------ Has anyone any experience of using an RDBMS for supporting VLSI design applications -- particularly with user-defined functions within SQL ??? Thanks, Alan Brown. ___________________________________________________________________________ Dr. Alan W. Brown, Department of Computer Science, University of York, Heslington, York. YO1 5DD.
