[comp.databases] /rdb : how to get

I have a book 

  UNIX Relational Database Management:
    Application Development in the UNIX Environment"
  
  by Rod Manis, Evan Schaffer, Robert Jorgensen
  published by Prentice Hall (ISBN 0-13-938622-X)

which discusses a collection of shell scripts and 'C' programs which
comprise a relational database system, oriented around the UNIX pipes
and filters idea.

I am interested in what the book says. It discusses how to install /rdb,
for example, but there is no mention of how to obtain the darn stuff!

Any information out there?
