Hello Netters !
Forgive me if my question is already answered, as i started reading this group
recently. We are planning to purchase a data-base oriented package. The seat-
uation is as follows
o Should be compatible with MSC 6.0
o Should be preferably in C
o Should do things which Clipper does ( I have Sum-87, which is MS 5.0 and it
*Bombs* with MSC 6.0 so can't use it )
o Preferably should have mouse interface ( I heard dLESKO's FUNKEY has one )
but this is *not* rejecting criteria.
o Should be around $200-225.
Codebase 4 is the package i have heard a lot from different sources
and it seems to work out well in above criterias ( Don't know about Mouse )
What basically i want to do is, interface a *strictly* MSC 6.0 compa-
tible package with Codebase 4 or what ever. And i need to use good amount of
database files ( Hence looking for something which uses .DBF format )

As we are short of funds ( as usual ;-( ), but we don't want to waste
availabe dow, i need comments && || suggestions && || experiences about Code -
base 4 ( It is Canada based company ) && || ANY OTHER PACKAGE which you want to suggest .
I would really appreciate for any help. Thanks in advance. You can directly
mail me if you like. I will summarize if i get sufficient replies.

Thanks a lot !
