[comp.databases] Sun Database query##########

Hi all,

Please forgive the naive aspects of my question, as I know very little about
databases, etc.  

I want to build a Hypertext system on a Sun SPARC station.  I know my data 
model (i.e. the format of the information at each node of the graph) but I am
looking for suggestions about the database upon which to implement the system.

I am coding in C++.

Any suggestions, remarks, pointers will be gratefully received,
