Some readers of this group may be interested in the "cbase" database library that has just been posted to comp.binaries.ibm.pc. It is from "Citadel" in Brookville, Indiana. Although distributed via MS-DOS channels, it claims to be mostly ANSI C and mentions UNIX operation several times in the documentation. It appeared in 12 UUENCODE'ed pieces that create a c. 340K .ZOO file. Full source seems to be included. However, there are very specific limitations on using it in commercial applications. I would like to stress that I have not used this beyond grabbing it from the net, but feel it may be of interest to students of b-tree theory who may be on a limited budget. Some sort of sample application also seems to be included, but again, I would like to stress that I have not attempted to compile any of it.
