[comp.databases] DBMS isolation levels

on@uta.fi (Ossi Numminen) (11/28/90)

Folks,

Does anybody have a copy of the assertion concerning the CS
isolation level and lost updates in commercially available
data base management systems that Mr. Robin Butler made in
his (?) company's (Butler Bloor) paper called Daemon? This
happened sometimes during the last summer. I would very much like
to have a copy of this assertion. Please, send it to:

By the way, do you also know, which commercially available
RDBMSs do support CS isolation level, except DB2?

Thanks,
       Ossi
