The DBASE IV vers1.1 (I think) readme.doc file states that for each PC running DBASE IV on a network, 300k of disk space is needed for temporary file use. Our setup uses the LAN server's disk for these temp files. But, when there are 10 PC's running the program, 3 Meg of disk space is required or the system hangs. Besides the obvious 'that sucks' response, is there any way to reduce the size required for the temp files? Please e-mail. We need a solution asap. Thanks, Tom. p.s. why does DBASE IV require so much disk space for temp files? -- I can be reached at... zougas@me.utoronto.ca || zougas@me.toronto.edu || ...!utai!me!zougas
